Tara Reid, who began making commercials as a child, made headlines with the premiere in Saved by the Bell: The New Class. While her acting ability has come under fire but it's evident that she's performed the role well. She got a break on the big screen in The Big Lebowski as Bunny. It was a fantastic beginning to her career and led to bigger part in films like Urban Legend and Cruel Intentions. American Pie - a cult film that explored sexual interactions between teenagers - was her debut big breakthrough into Hollywood. Her role as Vicky, the virgin, made her an attractive model. The film did not go on to a big, lucrative Hollywood career. Reid failed to make it big in Hollywood with movies such as Josie and the Pussycats. Reid did reprise her brief role in American Pie 2 but it unfortunately did not do much to help her career stall. Her offscreen mishaps, publicized and disastrous plastic surgery, and her numerous flash-and-miss appearances have turned her into a party-goer or designer instead of an actress.
